This year is the first time Forbes China has released China's ESG 50, which aims to find the best practices of Chinese enterprises at the ESG level, focus on enterprises' actions and information disclosure in Environmental, Social and Governance, and analyze and discover the current situation and future trends of China's ESG development.

 

 

 

From the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with the promotion of the United Nations, ESG's three core indicators of environment, society and corporate governance have become important standards for enterprises to promote sustainable development. This time, China's ESG 50 followed the United Nations ESG framework and principles, and selected 50 Chinese enterprises from the 2022 Forbes Global 2000 (ranked according to the four indicators of revenue, profits, assets and market value of global listed companies in the current year) to take the lead at the ESG level.
